In 2020 and 2021, the City of Saint Paul stood up four temporary road closures to vehicle traffic to support physically distant outdoor activities during the pandemic. The closures supported walking and biking in and around three City of Saint Paul parks areas including Como Regional Park, Phalen Regional Park and Cherokee Regional Park, as well as the along Mississippi River Boulevard. As we continue to learn from the pandemic and adapt and respond to the needs of our community, these closures will remain a part of the conversation.
Residents interested in learning about current and future plans and projects, including pending master plan updates for Mississippi River Boulevard and East Como Boulevard, can subscribe to receive updates on future engagement opportunities.
