Project Overview

The City of Saint Paul’s Parks and Recreation Department is rehabilitating the existing ball fields on the south end of Langford Park Recreation Center. The project improvements include the replacement of one of the existing baseball/softball fields as well as the conversion of one to a multi-use lawn field. The fields will have new player benches, backstop fencing, athletic field lighting, irrigation system, a stormwater infiltration basin, and a new pavement layout on the south and west sides of the Recreation Center building. The existing ice rinks will remain unaffected by this project. All the existing trees will remain and will be protected throughout the construction process.
