Cybersecurity Awareness Month kicks of this month and this year’s theme - “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.” - empowers individuals to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace.

Officers responded to a busy bar on the 200 block of West Seventh Street at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, and found a chaotic scene with 15 people suffering from gunshot wounds--one of whom was pronounced dead without being transported to the hospital.

Two people have been arrested for second-degree murder after striking a man with their vehicle early Tuesday morning.

Dispatchers took the call at about 3:05 a.m. from 46-year-old Johnny Ray Aldridge, who told them he had shot his wife inside their home on the 30 block of Winnipeg Avenue West.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of Westminster Street just before 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24. That’s where they found an unresponsive man, gravely wounded by an apparent gunshot wound.

The midday lunch rush was interrupted by gunfire on Saint Paul’s East Side Thursday, Sept. 23, leaving one man dead and police looking for the person who pulled the trigger. The shots rang out at about 12:50 p.m. near the intersection of White Bear and Suburban Avenues, an area that’s home to a gas station, restaurants and other busy retail shops.
