Citywide Cleanup Volunteer Events

Citywide Spring Cleanup with view of downtown Saint Paul

We are moving forward with a new format for the citywide spring cleanup. To create more flexibility for residents and community groups, the City of Saint Paul will move away from the traditional one-day event model. Instead, we will focus our resources on providing supplies and guidance to residents and community group cleanups throughout the year, when it works best for them.

We hope you join us in celebrating the 55th Anniversary of Earth Day by participating in a Citywide Cleanup outing! This celebration will run all year with your own independent parks, neighborhood and trails trash cleanups!

Follow these easy steps:

  • Pick your own date, time and location (park, sidewalk or trail).
  • Fill out our request form- COMING SOON
  • Receive supplies from Parks and Recreation or bring your own trash bags and gloves from home.
  • Pick up trash while maintaining a safe distance from any road.
  • Dispose of the bags in your own trash bin at home or place next to a trash bin in any city park.

Celebrate what you have done for the Earth by sharing your cleanup photos with #CitywideCleanup and #MySaintPaulParks to encourage your family and friends to participate.
