The project would like to inform area residents and visitors that tree removals will be taking place next week on Wheelock Parkway between Edgerton and Greenbrier Streets. 

This work will be completed by Husky Construction, Inc. (HCI) and is in preparation for next year’s phase of reconstruction.

• Most trees scheduled for removal are in the parkway median
• The project expects this work to be completed within one-to-two days
• There may be temporary disruptions to traffic to allow for safe operations
• HCI will work with residents to provide and/or maintain driveway access  
• Project Inspector Brad Mikiska (651-448-0115) will be onsite to oversee operations and work with impacted persons should challenges arise

• The project is in winter suspension with the exception of tree removal(s) and soil stabilizer being placed.  The stabilizer work has been delayed due to rain and snow as it can only be applied under suitable weather conditions.  The contractor will complete this work with the watershed district’s review/approval of application conditions.
• Sod will be installed in the spring.
• The roadway is open to traffic - traffic control equipment has been removed from the project area.
