The Advisory Committee on Aging (ACOA) consists of residents and community partners who advocate for and provide policy guidance to the City of Saint Paul on aging and older adults, promoting dignity and independence. ACOA's powers and duties include examining city services, advising the mayor on ordinances affecting older residents, recognizing older adults' contributions, improving inter-generational opportunities, and advocating on issues impacting older adults.

The Labor Standards Advisory Committee (LSAC) is tasked with advising and supporting the Labor Standards Enforcement and Education Division. LSAC strives to balance the interests of businesses and employees in the City of Saint Paul and promote a just and safe work environment. LSAC membership should reflect the diversity of the City of Saint Paul as well as industry/occupational diversity.
