Billing Made Easy

Saint Paul Regional Water Services is excited to announce that customers can now enjoy a modern payment experience featuring simplified AutoPay, expanded online payment options, in-store cash bill pay, and more. SPRWS is rolling out expanded ways to pay your water bill to best serve our residents’ billing and payment needs. With the new billing and payment solution, we’re able to deliver the modern capabilities our residents deserve. You now have the capability to make a payment any way you want.

Online Enrollment

To take advantage of many of these new and expanded ways to pay your SPRWS water bill, you will need to register on our bill payment portal. You will need your account number, customer number, and an email address. There is no charge for this service and is highly encouraged so you can get real-time updates for your SPRWS bill.

AutoPay

Simplify your bill payments with AutoPay, our recommended payment option. By linking your checking or savings account, you can enjoy a hassle-free, fee-free way to stay on top of your water bill payments.

What is AutoPay?

AutoPay automatic payments are withdrawn on your payment due date from your checking/savings account, debit/credit card, or digital wallet. Take advantage of auto payments using a checking/savings to get fee free payments. Payments made with debit/credit cards or digital wallets incur a $3.95 charge per transaction and per $500 block increment.

How Can I Sign Up for AutoPay?

If you are already using AutoPay, you will still be on AutoPay in the new online system.

If you are not already using AutoPay you can sign up using the Bill Payment Portal

If you have AutoPay, but want to make changes to your AutoPay account, you will need to call us at 651-266-6350, cancel your current AutoPay, and then sign up for it online with the payment method of your choosing.

Payment Options

There are many options when it comes to paying your water bill. You can use:

  • Checking or savings account
    Payments made via checking or savings account are fee-free.
  • Credit or debit cards
    You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Credit or debit cards incur a $3.95 charge per transaction, and a $3.95 fee per each additional $500 block increment.
  • Digital wallets such as Google Pay, Venmo, PayPal and PayPal Credit
    Digital wallets incur a $3.95 charge per transaction, and a $3.95 fee per each additional $500 block increment.
  • Cash
    Payments made using cash at 1900 Rice Street are fee-free. Payments made using cash at third-party retailers incurs a $2 fee (Walmart) or $2.95 fee (all other retailers, such as CVS and Walgreens).
  • Check or Money Order
    Payments can be made using check or money order in person, by return mail with your bill stub, or in one of our drop boxes. There are drop boxes in the visitor parking area and outside the main entrance door at 1900 Rice Street available 24 hours a day.

You have several options for where paying your water bill.

  • Online: Bill Payment Portal
  • Phone: 651-266-6350 and use our automated system or talk to a customer service representative
  • In person: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday at 1900 Rice Street, Saint Paul, MN 55113
  • Mail: 1900 Rice Street, Saint Paul, MN 55113-6810
