Multi-Unit Recycling Collection

The City defines multi-unit properties as residential buildings with five or more units. Property owners must provide recycling and garbage services for their tenants. The City coordinates recycling for all households in Saint Paul, including multi-unit properties. Properties with five or more units must coordinate garbage with a private hauler. The City contracts with FCC Environmental to provide recycling services for 5+ unit properties.

If you need to start or change recycling service, please complete the online assistance form below or call us at 651-266-6101.

Mixed-use properties that include both residences and businesses must work with a private hauler. The City does not coordinate collection for businesses.
