Join the Saint Paul Police Reserves

1. What Reserve Officers Do

   • Assist with traffic control and manage major events
   • Engage with the community to build relationships
   • Respond to crash scenes and provide support
   • Perform proactive patrols and assist with bike pick-ups

   While reserve officers play a vital role, their duties do not include the enforcement of general criminal laws of the state unless accompanied by a licensed peace officer. 

2. Join Our Team

   We are always accepting applications.  We typically host two academies each year, a few hours every Wednesday for 8 to 10 weeks, to train new reserve officers.
