The Saint Paul Police Department in partnership with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation is excited to offer the Junior Police Academy. Visit K-9 Kennels to see a demo with K-9 Officers and their K-9 partners, explore the Mounted Unit horse stables, have hands on interaction with the Saint Paul Fire Department and learn what it takes to become a firefighter, complete a bike rodeo course, catch the “big one” at a fishing event, play games, make new friends, and end with a graduation ceremony and BBQ celebration! This outstanding academy is FREE! Breakfast and lunch provided.
Each camp is 4 days (Mon-Thur) from 0830-1230 hours. (Roll call starts promptly at 0830 hours!) Please make sure kids wear closed-toed shoes as almost all activities are outdoors. Parents must come in to sign waiver forms the first morning.
Registration:
Enrollment in the camp is managed by Saint Paul Parks and Recreation. The camps are offered a few times a year, typically during the summer months.
