City of Saint Paul Seniors - Advisory Committee on Aging
The Advisory Committee on Aging (ACOA) is comprised of residents and community partners that advocate and provide policy guidance to the City of Saint Paul on aging issues and seniors.
ACOA Powers & Duties
- Promoting the dignity and independence of the aging population of Saint Paul.
- Examining current city services and programs and submitting recommendations to the mayor.
- Advising the mayor regarding city ordinances affecting older residents.
- Identifying the needs and recognizing the contributions of seniors.
- Working to improve inter-generational opportunities in the city.
- Advocating on issues that impact seniors.
ACOA Bylaws
ACOA meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month. ACOA meetings are open to the public.
