About the Department
The Saint Paul Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that employs approximately 800 people, including more than 550 sworn officers. The department is led by the Office of the Chief and four divisions:

Our Open Information Portal provides public data on crime, traffic stops, and pedestrian crashes.
You can file a data request if you need:
- A copy of a police or accident report
- Pictures from an accident
- Video from accident, traffic stop or arrest
- Transcript of a 911 call
