The Saint Paul Get Down
Our City’s Hip-Hop Showcase
More than just a concert, the Get Down celebrates Saint Paul’s vibrant community and supports our young talent. Emerging hip-hop creators from 14 to 24 years old share their talents in an inspiring, creative, and engaging atmosphere. Artists workshop their performances with mentorship from professional local artists, culminating in a final public performance. By attending, you will be showing your love for local artists and empowering them to pursue their dreams. Together, we are creating a powerful movement that nurtures the artistic spirit of our city. All concerts are free to attend, and everyone is welcome. Click or tap below for this year’s schedule.
The Get Down is offered in partnership with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, WFNU Frogtown Community Radio, Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project, COMPAS, and Best Buy Teen Tech Centers.
Seeking Emerging Talent
We are still enrolling artists for the 2025 performance series! If you are a Saint Paul hip-hop artist between 14 and 24 years old, we want to hear from you by June 1.
