Saint Paul Public Works is a nationally accredited organization responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of the street, sewer, and drainage infrastructure systems in Saint Paul.

Public Works also engineers the traffic, signal, and lighting infrastructure for the City, in addition to coordinating citywide recycling efforts.

The divisions within Public Works include Administration, Bridges, Capitol and Transportation Planning, Sewer Utility, Street Design and Construction, Street Maintenance, and Traffic and Lighting

Public Works is a member of MN2050, a coalition dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of the state's critical infrastructure.
