City Council Listening Session (Public Hearing)
The Saint Paul City Council will hold its annual Listening Session to hear Saint Paul residents’ perspectives on the Mayor’s proposed budget for 2026. The City Council will be hearing details over the coming months around the proposed budget, and will adopt the 2026 budget in December. Hearing from our constituents on their needs around this budget is a crucial step in the process.
Residents who are able are encouraged to join us in person at Arlington Hills Community Center on September 16th at 5:30 pm. There will be a brief presentation from the Council’s Chief Budget Officer on the proposed budget, annual process, and timeline. After that, there will be a facilitated public hearing to hear from the community, and each resident will be allowed 2 minutes to speak. Written comments can be submitted any time to contact-council@ci.stpaul.mn.us.
