[ACTIVE] Applications now being accepted for EMS Academy

EMS Academy

The nationally recognized Saint Paul EMS Academy is now accepting applications for the next EMS Academy class. The EMS Academy is a 10 week intensive program designed for Saint Paul young adults ages 18-24 interested in careers in emergency medicine. Upon successful graduation, participants earn National EMT Certification, 9 college credits, and are prepared to work in a variety of EMT positions.

Interested individuals can apply at www.stpaul.gov/jobs until March 31, 2014.

For more information, individuals can also attend the next EMS Academy Information Session, Wednesday, 3/19 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Saint Paul Fire Station 51 (Freedom House) - 296 7th Street West, Saint Paul.

The EMS Academy is also partnering with the Saint Paul Hubbs Center to offer a Pre-EMS Academy course from April 14th - June 6th. Individuals can apply to the pre-academy, in person, at the Hubbs Center - 1030 University Avenue, Saint Paul.
