Our dedicated firefighters, public educators, support staff and maintenance personnel form an effective team that is proud to serve the residents of our Capital City.
There are 15 fire stations
throughout the City. The firefighters and medics work 24-hour shifts to keep the City safe and make Saint Paul, America's most livable city.
Fire Prevention Week is October 4-10, 2015. This year's theme is "Hear The Beep Where You Sleep: Every Bedroom Needs A Working Smoke Alarm". We will be having an Open House on Saturday, October 10 at Fire Station 1 located at 1000 West 7th Street, Fire Station 14 located at 111 No. Snelling, and at Station 7 located at 1038 Ross Avenue from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Come meet your local Firefighters and Paramedics, tour the fire station, learn how to make your home a safe haven from fire, and learn hands only CPR. There will be fire department demonstrations and free activities for the whole family. Come join in the fun!
