Customer Appreciation - Food Sales
Overview

This license is for the sale of food items in conjunction with a business customer appreciation event, where the food operations are restricted to the menu items, food preparation methods, and equipment that have been submitted with the application and approved by the director.

Any change in menu items, food preparation methods, and/or equipment will require approval by the director prior to the event. Food sales are limited to within the building in which the business is located or exterior areas contiguous to the building.

This license is valid for only one event that is not to exceed three consecutive days. A business is limited to not more than two such events within a 12-month period.

Application Requirements

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Department (Ph: (651) 266-9090), Environmental Health (Ph: (651) 266-8989), Licensing (Ph: (651) 266-8989), and Zoning (Ph: (651) 266-9008).


Fees

The fee for one event of Customer Appreciation - Food Sales is $54.00. If you apply three days or less before your event, there is a $27.00 late fee. There is also a $55.00 emergency for those issued on site. Cash payment is required if you are applying less than eight days before the event.


Expiration/Renewal

A Customer Appreciation - Food Sales License is valid for only one event that shall not exceed three consecutive days. A business shall be limited to not more than two such events within a 12-month period.
