**Depending on the number of candidates that pass the written exam, this timeline is subject to change.
April 12 – May 15 Practice Sessions
May 17 – June 18 Physical Performance Exams
Candidates will have the opportunity to attend two (2) practice sessions prior to the physical performance exam. If you would like an orientation to the physical exam, you can report to the training center one hour prior to your first practice session. Firefighters will give you a detailed description of the exam and provide you with suggestions on how to complete each task. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions of current Firefighters.
You will be allowed to sign up for your second practice session once your first practice session has been completed. If you are unable to attend your first session, please contact Human Resources at 651-266-6500 – press #1, then 0. You will be allowed to sign up for your second session at that time.
Your actual physical performance exam will be randomly scheduled by Human Resources. You are to report at your scheduled time and no make-ups exams will be allowed.
