Elevator Operator
General Information

Every passenger elevator, except automatic elevators and moving stairways, shall be in charge of a licensed operator while such installation is in use.

See Chapter 38.03 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code for information about elevator operator licenses.

Fees

The initial application fee for a elevator operator license is $2.00, the renewal fee for a elevator operator license is $1.00 per year.


Expiration/Renewal

All Trade Licenses expire on December 1 and may be renewed annually.
