Federal agency tasked with environmental protection. Enforces federal clean and safe drinking water laws.

EPA Office of Water

Portion of the EPA responsible for ensuring drinking water is safe and oceans, watersheds, and aquatic ecosystems are protected.

Minnesota Department of Health (MDH)

Minnesota's state authority for drinking water. Oversees several programs that ensure safe drinking water.

Upper Mississippi Source Water Protection Project

Cooperative effort among cities, and regional/state agencies to protect the water of the Upper Mississippi River basin.

American Water Works Association (AWWA)

International non-profit, scientific, and educational association founded to improve water quality and supply.
