Blooming Saint Paul Day
Blooming Saint Paul Day, Saturday, May 17th, 2014, is a day to promote volunteer gardening and to prepare public gardens for the coming growing season.  We hope to engage 150 volunteers helping in as many as 40 sites throughout Saint Paul.

their garden preparations in the following ways:

- Free mulch will be delivered to the public gardens that request it, the week prior to Blooming Saint Paul Day
- Free plants, to be used in Saint Paul public gardens, will be available for pick-up at the Como Central Service Facility, 1100 Hamline Avenue between 8:00am and 12:00pm on May 17th
- Free refreshments will be provided at the Como Central Service Facility from 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Parks and Recreation will pick up bagged garden debris to be hauled away for compost following the event
