Project Overview

Project funding has been secured for Eileen Weida Play Area for the replacement of play equipment and related site improvements that include new walks, synthetic resilient surfacing for ADA compliance, benches, and landscaping.

 

Meetings

Meeting #1 – February 2, 2011: 

The first meeting was held at the Saint Paul Police Eastern District Headquarters on Wednesday, February 2nd. We reviewed and discussed the goals and objectives of the project, site analysis, conceptual bubble diagrams, play equipment and surfacing, and what the community would like to see incorporated into the updated playground. Meeting #2: Wednesday, March 2nd: 


During the second community meeting, we presented the updated play area concept plan of which the design was based upon the input received during the Februart 2nd meeting. We then presented several play equipment layouts, discussed equipment color options, and addressed additional questions raised from the previous meeting.
