The Blooming Saint Paul Horticulture Academy is an educational summer job program for youth interested in plants, gardening and horticultural topics. Youth work throughout the City in beautification projects completing tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching and maintaining municipal parks and gardens. 

Topics covered throughout the course include: plant anatomy and identification, soil, entomology and landscape design.  Youth that complete the summer program graduate with a certificate and references from their crew leaders.
