Safety Calendar - this calendar lists the topics to be covered in safety messages sent out by the LMSC. Safety messages, once distributed, will be placed under the month of distribution so that they are available for printing and posting. The size of the safety messages is 8 1/2 by 11 inches and will fit on standard printer paper. All messages are in black and white. Please post in all employee areas.
March 2010 – Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility / Safety Awareness –
April 2010 – Stretching / Proper Body Mechanics – As spring comes, so do spring chores – stay safe and healthy – stretch before doing work, and use proper body mechanics
May 2010 – Safe Driving / Promote Seatbelt Use & Vehicle Inspections
June 2010 – National Safety Month
July 2010 – Heat Awareness / Stay Hydrated – Stay Healthy / Use Sunscreen
August 2010 – PPE – Do you know what it is? Personal Protective Equipment. What is appropriate to use, wear and have in your job and in what you are doing?
September 2010 - Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility / Safety Awareness – Safety is a 24 hour job year round
October 2010 – Fall Housekeeping / Injury Prevention – be aware of your surroundings – keep your workplace clean.
November 2010 – Winter Driving Tips & Having a winter vehicle kit
December 2010 - Winter Weather Awareness / Beware of Snow and Ice on Roads and Walkways / Be careful when shoveling / Wear proper attire.
January 2011 – Accident and Injury Prevention
