What does the Recovery Act mean for Saint Paul?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) signed into law by President Obama on February 17th, 2009 includes measures to modernize our nation's infrastructure, enhance energy independence, expand educational opportunities, preserve and improve affordable health care, provide tax relief, and protect those in greatest need.

City of Saint Paul officials and staff are working to ensure that our community receives appropriate funds available through the Recovery Act by researching all grant and partnership opportunities in all areas of government including infrastructure, housing, public safety, personnel, library, recreation, and the environment.

This web site is designed to provide you with up to date information on the recovery programs and grants that the City of Saint Paul has applied for and received, as well as detailed reports
on how the money will be used to benefit the people of Saint Paul.
