January 8, 2007 - 7:10 AM, at Payne and Ivy

Resident leaving for work saw a man walking S/B on Payne at Ivy just minutes before the attack of the 13-year-old female at Payne and Hyacinth. The victim in this case did not get a good look at the suspect, but said he smelled badly (possibly body odor).

Suspect described as black male, 17 to 21 years old, slim to medium build, wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket with hood up.
