Motorcycle Dealer License

Overview

This license is for dealers in motorcycles, motor scooters and motor bikes, new and secondhand only.

Code Requirements

See Chapter 401 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code for information about motorcycle dealers.

Application Requirements

You must submit the following:

Class N City License Application
Proof of Minnesota Dealer License issued by the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, Driver and Vehicle Services
A lease / rental agreement or proof of ownership
A site plan
Required fee

Inspections

This license requires inspection approvals from the Saint Paul Fire Department (Ph: (651) 266-8989), Licensing (Ph: (651) 266-8989), and Zoning (Ph: (651) 266-9008).

Fees

The annual fee for a Motorcycle Dealer License is $172.00 per location.

Expiration/Renewal

A Motorcycle Dealer License will expire one year from date of issuance and may be renewed annually.
