Meetings
The Ford Site Planning Task Force is hosting a series of public meetings throughout 2015 on different topics related to the Ford site redevelopment, in preparation for a zoning and public realm plan to be considered by the city in late 2015 and early 2016.

Outcome of Task Force Work
The charge to the Ford Site Planning Task Force is to prepare for consideration by the Planning Commission, City Council, and Mayor a development framework for the site that represents a fitting legacy for the Ford Motor Company and the City of Saint Paul.

It is expected that in late 2015 or early 2016, the The Task Force will forward a recommendation to the Saint Paul Planning Commission that includes the following:
  • A proposed redevelopment framework for the Ford site
  • Proposed zoning classifications and other land use regulations consistent with the development framework

The Planning Commission will consider the Task Force recommendation, along with other public and stakeholder input, in deciding what zoning and public realm plan for the site to forward to the City Council and Mayor for consideration.  The City Council and Mayor will be the final decision makers on the above items.
